Mark Roberts (Chair of Trustees)

Mark Roberts has recently retired after 35 years in the construction industry most recently responsible for Education sector strategy for a large UK Contractor. 

Mark was responsible for determining and delivering the Education Sector strategy for a top 10 UK construction company, overseeing the design and construction of new and refurbished facilities for schools, colleges and universities. Prior to this Mark held full P&L and board responsibility as midlands director delivering construction services across the public and private sectors. Having graduated as a Civil Engineer in 1987 he was a member of the Institution of Civil Engineers and Chartered Institute of Builders. 

Involved in school governance since 2003, Mark was initially a parent Governor at Princefield First School then Wolgarston High School and was instrumental in the creation of the Federation of schools becoming the first chair of Trustees for PVAT in 2018.
